Turtle Found Alive
A turtle named Pascualina was pulled alive from the rubble of a collapsed building in Venezuela’s Catia La Mar, more than a month after two powerful earthquakes struck the country on June 24.

Footage shows rescuers hauling away rubble before spotting the dust-covered animal. After shifting several heavy objects, one rescuer reaches deep into the wreckage and carefully pulls her free.
Thirty Days Trapped
Pascualina reportedly fell from the sixth floor during the earthquakes and remained trapped for more than 30 days. Despite the ordeal, she survived and was reunited with her owners.

Earthquake Damage Reported
The magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes brought down 190 buildings across Venezuela, killing more than 5,500 people and leaving over 16,700 injured, according to government figures.
