In another unsettling case in Penang, Malaysia, a man was recently caught on CCTV stealing a woman’s bra and engaging in inappropriate behavior outside her apartment.
The incident took place on October 20, 2024, in George Town, raising concerns about safety in residential areas.

At around 6:45 a.m. in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, a man was caught on CCTV committing an indecent act outside a woman’s apartment. The footage, later shared on Facebook by Penang Today Community, shows the individual slipping his hand through the metal grille of the victim’s front door to steal a bra from a clothesline inside.


After confirming the coast was clear, the man held the bra up to his face, inhaled deeply, and proceeded to engage in a lewd act.


After he finished, he placed the bra back in its original location and walked away.

Victim’s Response
According to Oriental Daily, the victim, a 31-year-old woman, was horrified when she received a motion alert from her CCTV app. Upon reviewing the footage, she discovered the man’s repulsive actions. Without hesitation, she filed a police report around 1 p.m. that same day.

Northeast District acting police chief Superintendent Lee Swee Sake stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. However, no arrests have been made so far, and authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward to help identify the suspect.

After the CCTV footage was shared online, it quickly attracted significant attention and provoked outrage from the public. Many viewers expressed their disgust at the man’s actions, with some labeling him a “pervert” and feeling grateful that the incident had been recorded on video.
