Spanish football fans erupted in celebration in Madrid on Tuesday after Spain defeated France 2-0 to book their place in the World Cup final.
Footage shows crowds watching the semi-final before celebrating the victory with chants, flags and cheers.
“We have better players than any other national team. This World Cup is already ours…it will be ours,” one supporter said.
“Nobody scares us. Not a single one. We’re Spanish, damn it. This World Cup, whether it is Messi, Bellingham or whoever, Spain is going to win it,” another fan added.
Final Spot Secured
Spain’s Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring with a penalty in the 22nd minute after Lamine Yamal was fouled, and Pedro Porro added a second goal in the second half, securing La Roja’s place in the final, where they will face the winner of the semi-final between Argentina and England.
