Iran Claims Air Defense Hit US F-35, No Independent Confirmation Yet

Iran has released dramatic footage claiming its air defense systems successfully tracked and hit a U.S. F-35 stealth jet over central Iran, calling it a major breakthrough against one of the world’s most advanced aircraft.

According to Iranian military statements, the jet was locked, engaged, and severely damaged mid-air. The claim is being framed as a powerful signal that even fifth-generation stealth technology is no longer untouchable in modern warfare.

However, available reports only confirm that a U.S. F-35 was damaged and forced to make an emergency landing during a combat mission, with the pilot safe and the incident under investigation. (!)
