Four UAE humanitarian aid convoys carrying hundreds of tonnes of food supplies entered the Gaza Strip this week as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

Footage released on Sunday shows aid trucks parked on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing before entering Gaza, as officials supervised preparations. The exact date the footage was filmed could not be independently verified.
Hundreds Of Tonnes
Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the four convoys carried 740 tonnes of food parcels aboard 60 trucks.
The supplies were prepared and loaded at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Egypt’s Al Arish under a system designed to sort and dispatch aid according to needs inside Gaza.
Ongoing Relief Efforts
WAM said the convoys formed part of the UAE’s continuing efforts to support Palestinians and provide essential food and relief assistance amid the humanitarian crisis.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 was launched on November 5, 2023, under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.
